Actors Idris Elba, Kristofer Hivju, and Olga Kurylenko have tested positive for the new coronavirus.
Also, because it is broadcast before a live studio audience, "Saturday Night Live" has postponed its next three shows, according to reports.
Elba, who starred in TV drama "The Wire" and movie "Avengers: Infinity War," said in a Twitter post he had no symptoms but was isolating himself from others. It was not clear where he was located.
Elba, 47, tweeted:
"This morning I tested positive for Covid 19. I feel ok, I have no symptoms so far but have been isolated since I found out about my possible exposure to the virus. Stay home people and be pragmatic. I will keep you updated on how I'm doing... No panic."
Hivju is best known for playing the formidable, bearded Tormund on "Game of Thrones."
Hivju revealed the diagnosis in an Instagram post, saying he is currently self-quarantining with his family in Norway:
"Sorry to say that I, today, have tested positive for COVID19, Corona virus. My (family) and I are self-isolating at home for as long as it takes. We are in good health – I only have mild symptoms of a cold. There are people at higher risk for who this virus might be a devastating diagnosis, so I urge all of you to be extremely careful; wash your hands, keep 1,5 meters distance from others, go in quarantine; just do everything you can to stop the virus from spreading. Together we can fight this virus and avert a crisis at our hospitals. Please take care of each other, keep your distance, and stay healthy!"
News of Hivju's diagnosis comes just over three weeks after he was cast in season 2 of "The Witcher," playing the role of Nivellen.
Kurylenko, who starred as Camille Montes opposite Daniel Craig in the 2008 James Bond film "Quantum of Solace," posted on Instagram she too has tested positive, answering some questions about her fever and symptoms:
"Why I'm not in hospital? Because hospitals are full and they are only taking patients that are struggling with life, if I understand correctly. I was told that if I get worse to call an ambulance. Where I got tested? In the hospital when an ambulance took me there after I called because my fever was over 39. How did I get tested? They took a swab from my throat. Where did I get coronavirus? Impossible to know. It could be anywhere. I could have touched a taxi handle and gotten it from there. It's on surfaces! For a week my temperature was stable 38. Sometimes up to 38.5. Today it's come down."
Elba said he had taken the test because he found out Friday he had been exposed to someone who had contracted the disease. He did not identify the person.
"Stay positive. Don't freak out," he said in a video accompanying the Twitter post.
Elba was the second major Hollywood celebrity to announce he has the virus. Tom Hanks and his wife Rita Wilson announced last week that they both had contracted the disease while working on a film in Australia.
