Britney Spears' son has revealed that his iconic pop star mother may quit music for good. Taking to Instagram Live on Tuesday, Jayden Federline broke the news to his followers.

"Actually, I haven't seen her doing a lot of music at all," the 13-year-old said, according to TMZ. "I remember one time I asked her, 'Mom, what happened to your music? And she was like 'I dunno honey I think I might just quit it.' And I was like, 'what? What are you saying? You know how much bank you make off that stuff?'" he said.

During his Instagram post, Jayden also took a swipe at his grandfather, Jamie Spears, who reportedly got into a physical altercation with Jayden's older brother, Sean last year.

"He's a pretty big d***," Jayden said on Tuesday. "He can go die."

There have been ongoing rumors that Britney may never perform again and Jayden's claims only appear to confirm what fans have feared. Last year Britney postponed her Las Vegas "Domination" residency, sparking speculation that her career was on the rocks.

At the time, her manager Larry Rudolph said it be awhile before the "Toxic" singer takes to the stage again.

"We had to pull her show because her meds stopped working and she was distraught over her dad's illness," he previously told TMZ.

"Domination" was supposed to kick off in February last year, but rehearsals were put on hold when Britney's father fell ill. Rudolph said that, based on what he had heard from "all of the professionals" who work with Britney, it was clear that she would "not be going back to do this Vegas residency, not in the near future and possibly never again."

He added that he did not want Britney to work until she was ready "physically, mentally and passionately."

"If that time never comes again it will never come again. I have no desire or ability to make her work again," Rudolph said. "I am only here for her when she wants to work. And, if she ever does want to work again, I'm here to tell her if it's a good idea or a bad idea."
