Bruce Jenner, the former Olympian and patriarch of the Kardashian family who is rumored to be undergoing some sort of gender transition, is shooting a reality show docuseries about his recent life changes for the E! network.
TMZ confirmed through its sources that much of the footage for the series has already been shot over the past few months.
That footage is said to include Jenner interacting with his kids and ex-wife Kris as they respond and react to the changes. One source close to the show said that at one point Kris "lost it."
Kris and Bruce have been separated since June of last year, and filed for a divorce in September. They had been together for 22 years. Bruce has helped raise Kris' daughters from a previous marriage, Kourtney, Kim and Khloe Kardashian — the main subjects of the "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" reality show — as well as their two daughters, Kendall and Kylie.
A day before the TMZ report, Kim Kardashian
spoke with Entertainment Tonight about Jenner's life changes, remaining vague on the details, but fully supportive of Jenner.
"I think everyone goes through things in life, and I think that story and what Bruce is going through, I think he'll share whenever the time is right," she said. "I feel like that's his journey to talk about."
"Of course we support Bruce 100 percent," she added.
Jenner's gender transition has been rumored since the divorce. He has denied such assertions publicly, but is nonetheless a regular subject of innuendo and stalking by the paparazzi, who are on a constant lookout for evidence.
