Bruce Springsteen and his E Street Band will begin a 16-date tour starting April 8 that will take them to 12 states, including a May outdoor gig in Pennsylvania, reported Rolling Stone magazine.
Springsteen's latest effort "High Hopes" landed at No. 1 album on the Billboard 200 chart late last year and still ranks in the No. 30 on the chart,
according to Billboard. The E Street Band will receive the Award for Musical Excellence from the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame on April 10 at Brooklyn's Barclays Center,
reported The New York Post.
The group will kick off its concert tour two days earlier in U.S. Bank Arena in Cincinnati,
according to Rolling Stone.

After the Hall of Fame ceremony, the band will travel to Virginia Beach to play at Farm Bureau Live on April 12.
Other concert dates,
according to Springsteen's website, include: April 15, in Columbus, Ohio; April 17, in Nashville; April 19, in Charlotte, N.C.; April 22, in Pittsburgh; April 24, in Raleigh, N.C.; April 26, in Atlanta; April 29, in Sunrise, Fla.; May 1, at Tampa, Fla.; May 3, in New Orleans; May 6, in Houston; and May 13, in Albany, N.Y.
Springsteen will play its outdoor concert at the Hersheypark Stadium in Hershey, Pa., on May 14 before closing out its spring concert series with performances at Uncasville, Conn., on May 17 and 18.
One person fans may miss on the tour is popular guitarist Steve Van Zandt, who is committed to the Norwegian television series "Lilyhammer," which he has starred in since 2012. Van Zandt made a name for himself in acting circles portraying Silvio Dante in the award-winning HBO series "The Sopranos" from 1999-2007.
Van Zandt told Rolling Stone he did make arrangements to be with the band for the Hall of Fame ceremony.
"I told (Bruce) I was going to miss five weeks of work to go to South Africa and Australia," Van Zandt told Rolling Stone. "But then I'll have to go back to Norway and work through June. If there are other E Street shows, I may have to miss a few and catch up with them in July."
