“Breaking Bad” actor Bryan Cranston’s take on famous moments in baseball for a TBS Major League Baseball commercial is a home run.

The much-lauded and entertaining commercial starts out with Cranston sitting calmly on a red-carpeted stairway worthy of Tara.

“I’ve been doing a lot of TV and movie work and I felt that it was time for me to get back to the basics by diving right into my great passion — baseball,” he told the camera. “And I also knew that I wanted to do this one-man show. So then it hit me. Why not dramatize the entire MLB postseason?”

And then, he added, “It would be my greatest acting challenge.”

Cranston then proceeds to act out some big moments, such as Kirk Gibson hitting a homer in the 1988 World Series, and he shared the preparation that went in to getting ready for his one-man show, such as hirIng renowned ballerina Misty Copeland to work with him on movement.

“I gotta tell you,” he said. “It was tough.”

He also brought in Pedro Martinez to consult on how to carry the hefty weight of a World Series trophy.

And no baseball one-man show would be complete without a dramatic rendition of “Take Me Out to the Ballgame.”

Fans of baseball and Cranston alike fell in love with the commercial and the actor’s incredible homage to baseball.

“Two things, I'd actually see this show... And I actually got chills while he was speaking Take Me Out to the Ball Game,” one commenter wrote on the YouTube video.

“Bryan is one of the best comedy actors of our time ... and yet still one of the best dramatic actors of our time. That rarely overlaps,” another said.

Along with its goal of serving as an introduction to the postseason on TBS, the commercial is bringing a lot of attention to the sport.

“I do know the MLB regular season is wrapping up soon, but only because Bryan Cranston told me in a fantastic commercial for the playoffs. It’s more inspiring than a million Derek Jeter speeches,” wrote Uproxx Sports.
