Zoo visitors in the Philippines can relax into the grip of four Burmese pythons that give massages for free.
Leading off with the story with the question “Is this a ssssssspa treatment?” the
Daily Mail said the Cebu City Zoo is trying to help people see that snakes aren’t an enemy.

But before letting the 250kg of snake wrap around someone, the zookeepers feed them around 10 chickens to make sure they’re not hungry.
The 15-minute massage, which is supposed to be relaxing, is free and comes with a list of instructions on what not to do to upset the pythons.
Story continues below video.
One of those instructions is
“don’t come with a pet,” CNN said.
The Daily Mail expanded on the list of tips, which include don’t breathe air on the snake and don’t scream or yell because the vibrations would make the snake think of the person as a predator or prey.
While some said they might try the unique massage, others online weren’t sure of that idea at all. Referring to a comment in the Daily Mail article that pointed out that pythons can kill their prey in minutes, one person wrote, “If it goes wrong, the consequence would be unthinkable.”
The Internet community did, in fact, seem to be fixated on what could go wrong during a snake massage.
And a few people failed to understand the purpose.
“Is there a reason these people don't just go for, like, you know, a regular massage?”
one man wrote on TalkBass. And on the same thread, another wrote, “Ah humanity. The more advanced we get, the less smarterer we get.”
