Hannity: Media Commits 'Journalistic Malpractice' Against Cain

The media commited "journalistic malpractice" in publishing news stories about Herman Cain's alleged sexual harassment of former female employees in the 1990s, Sean Hannity said on his radio show today.

Hannity called the attack on the Republican presidential candidate a "feeding frenzy."

"They think they smell blood in the water here," he said.

Cain should be given the benefit of the doubt because the story lacks details about the victims and the actions taken against them, Hannity said.

Cain denied the charges and said he falsely was accused. That didn't stop the media from trying to "ruin" Cain's reputation, Hannity said.

"The media, then, can pull the pin . . . if it's a conservative, let's just pull the pin," Hannity said. "But we can't get into the details. Well, why the hell not?
