Caitlyn Jenner's Instagram Post on 4th of July Celebrates Freedom

Caitlyn Jenner patriotically took to Instagram to celebrate her freedom on her first Independence Day as a woman.

The former Olympian’s “free to be me” caption mirrors her prior comments about her family’s acceptance of her transition. Jenner has said that stepdaughter Kim Kardashian West was the most accepting because of the reality star's husband Kanye West’s beliefs about being true to yourself, People reported.

"He says to Kim, 'Look it, I can be married to the most beautiful woman in the world, and I am. I can have the most beautiful daughter in the world, and I have that,” Jenner recalled. “But I'm nothing if I can't be me. If I can't be true to myself, it doesn't mean anything.”

Kardashian West also used Instagram on Independence Day to share a picture of her red, white, and blue outfit:
