Cardi B's fans got more than an eyeful when the "WAP" hitmaker accidentally posted a topless photo of herself to Instagram Stories on Tuesday night. The now-deleted photo, which was shared by the U.K's Mirror, shows Cardi B looking into the camera with her breasts exposed. The rapper said she was not going to let the leaked image bother her.
"You know what, I’m not even gonna beat myself up about it," she stated in a Twitter voice note.
Cardi B has been partying up a storm in Las Vegas in celebration of her 28th birthday and was determined to keep things upbeat and fun.
"I’m just gonna eat my breakfast. I’m just gonna eat my breakfast, right? I’m gonna eat my breakfast and then I’m gonna go to a party, because I’m not even gonna think about it. I am not going to think about it, okay?"
Cardi B added that it was not the first time she has shown off her naked body.
" I mean I used to f---ing be a stripper so whatever. Ay, Dios mio," she said.
The mishap sparked a trend among fans who proudly shared snaps of their own cleavage with the hashtag "boobsoutforCardi." Not all responses were positive though. Cardi B found herself having to explain to a fan why her "areolas so big."
"I breastfed a baby for 3 months t---ies got bigger so nipples got bigger," she replied.
Cardi B has reportedly spent the last few days in Las Vegas with a group of friends and estranged husband Offset, who she filed for divorce from in September, Mirror reported.
In her divorce papers, the pop icon claimed that her marriage to Offset was "irretrievably broken," and that "there are no prospects for a reconciliation" for the pair, who share two-year-old daughter Kulture Kiari. They are due to appear in court Nov. 4.
