Oscar-winner Charlize Theron has nothing but criticism for an "incredibly overweight" Steven Seagal who she says can't fight and treats women like dirt.
The actress made her remarks on Monday's episode of "The Howard Stern Show." The topic turned to female leads acting out their own fight sequences in films when Theron launched into an attack against the action star.
"When I make a movie like ['The Old Guard'] … at night I’ll go online to watch fighters or watch people fight and you always come across that odd Seagal video of him 'fighting' in Japan, but he really isn’t," she said, per Sun Sentinel. "He’s just incredibly overweight and pushing people."
Theron continued to slam Seagal, who has been accused of sexually assaulting two women decades ago and has also faced claims of sexual misconduct from actresses including Jenny McCarthy and Portia de Rossi.
"I have no problem talking s—t about him because he’s not very nice to women so f—k you!" Theron said. "He’s overweight and can barely fight … look it up, it’s ridiculous," she continued. "He’s shoving people by the face, it’s a whole setup."
Theron added that tough female stars were redefining the action film genre.
"We don’t want to f-----g fight like men, we want to fight like we would fight and figure out what this looks like," she said. "We want to fight smarter we want to fight in a way that makes sense and we want to do it in a way where we’re still part of emotional storytelling."
Theron is known for doing her own stunts in films including the action thriller "Atomic Blonde," and is among "the top one percentile of actors to do their own action," said director David Leitch, according to Elle. "She's f---ing badass," he added.
