Charlotte Pence has revealed she bought her own copy of John Oliver’s spoof Marlon Bundo book, which is currently No. 1 on Amazon’s best-seller list.

"I think imitation is the most sincere form of flattery in a way," the 24-year-old daughter of Vice President Mike Pence told Fox Business Network host Maria Bartiromo on Thursday. "But in all seriousness, his book is contributing to charities that I think we can all get behind. We have two books that are giving to charities that are both about bunnies, so I’m all for it, really.”

After the interview, she posed with the real Marlon Bundo, the vice presidential family pet, in a photo she posted on Twitter.

Marlon Bundo, also known as BUTUS (Bunny of the United States), has become a hit on social media where he’s amassed nearly 25,000 Instagram followers.

Pence’s book, “A Day in the Life of the Vice President,” tells the story of a day in the life of the vice president through the eyes of their pet rabbit, Marlon Bundo. It was illustrated by second lady Karen Pence, who appeared with Charlotte on Fox Business.

A percentage of the proceeds from Pence's book will go to a A21, a nonprofit dedicated to stamping out sex trafficking.

Oliver’s book, titled “A Day in the Life of Marlon Bundo,” was claimed to have been written by Marlon Bundo with Jill Twiss and is illustrated by EG Keller. It sat atop Amazon’s best-seller list Thursday while Pence’s Bundo book took the No. 4. spot. Oliver announced the release of his own book about a homosexual rabbit Sunday on his HBO show.

Profits from Oliver’s book will go to AIDS United and the Trevor Project, a suicide prevention organization for LGBT youth.
