Comedienne Chelsea Handler kicked CNN host Piers Morgan where it hurts Monday night when she sparred with him during an interview segment and quipped about his recently canceled show.
The 39-year-old star of "Chelsea Lately" was on the show to promote her new travel book, "Uganda Be Kidding Me," when she got into a tense discussion with Morgan. Handler reportedly wasn't happy that Morgan tweeted during a commercial break.
"You can't even pay attention for 60 seconds," Handler told him during Monday's "Piers Morgan Live." "You're a terrible interviewer."
"Well, you just weren't keeping my attention," Morgan answered. "It's more an issue for you than me."
The two personalities traded barbs, and Handler eventually offered some professional advice.
"This is your show," she said. "You have to pay attention to the guest that you invited on your show. Maybe that's why your job is coming to an end."
"Wow," Morgan said, without saying much else.
This is not the first time Handler and Morgan have squared off on air. In fact, the two have a long-running public feud.
In late February,
Morgan and CNN President Jeff Zucker mutually agreed to end his low-rated cable news program.
