Chris Christie Falling Off a Chair: Newly Released Clip Is a Viral Gem

By    |   Friday, 30 January 2015 01:23 PM EST

The Internet delivered a gem of a video Friday when Philadelphia radio station 94WIP released a never-before-seen clip of New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie falling off a chair during a visit to the studio over the summer.

The potential 2016 GOP candidate stopped by WIP's morning show in June 2014 but had some trouble with his seat as he said hello to host Angelo Cataldi.

"Whoa, hold on. We got a chair issue," Cataldi says as the wheeled seat rolls out from under Christie, sending the governor flying backwards.

"We're alright now," Christie says as he comes to his feet.

The radio station reportedly released the video Friday to coincide with its annual Wing Bowl, according to a statement on the WIP website.

Twitter users had a field day with the hilarious clip.

One creative YouTube user even decided to loop the video to Culture Club's hit "I'll Tumble 4 Ya."

Christie is no stranger to taking some barbs on social media. His run-in with Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones after a playoff game earlier this month — in which they awkwardly hugged after Jones snubbed Christie's high-five attempt — also made him a target on Twitter.
