Chris Evans gave his fans an eyeful after he accidentally posted X-rated images to social media over the weekend. The mishap occurred when the actor shared a now-deleted video of his family playing a game of "Heads Up" on his Instagram Story on Saturday, according to EOnline.
At the end of the video, a camera roll popped up on the screen. Among the images was reportedly a photo of a penis.
It was not long before social media was buzzing.
"Avengers" actor, Mark Ruffalo, took to Twitter to poke fun at his co-star's gaffe.
"@ChrisEvans Bro, while Trump is in office there is NOTHING you could possibly do to embarrass yourself. See... silver lining," he wrote.
Evans' brother, Scott Evans, also made a friendly jab at the "Knives Out" actor.
"Was off social media for the day yesterday," he tweeted on Sunday. "What’d I miss?"
Many fans called for others to respect Evans' privacy, and shared wholesome photos of the star to remind the public that he is "a gentleman."
While thousands lent their support to Evans, actress Kat Dennings, who was slammed after hackers leaked her private photos, used the incident to bring attention to the gender divide.
"The public respect for Chris Evans' privacy/feelings is wonderful," she wrote. "Wouldn’t it be nice if it extended to women when this kind of thing happens?"
It is unclear whether the camera roll belonged to Evans .
