Clay Martin Croker, longtime animator and Cartoon Network voice actor, has died at the age of 54.
Croker was best known for animating CN’s late night show “Space Ghost Coast to Coast” and for voicing the characters Zorak and Moltar. Croker also worked as an animator for the “Adult Swim” programming on Cartoon Network.
The details of Croker’s death have not yet been released yet, but reports on social media suggest it was sudden.
Adult Swim Creative Director Jason DeMarco tweeted he saw Croker not too long ago and it was hard to believe he had died.
Croker was involved with Cartoon Network for many years, since it revamped its offerings in the '90s. In addition to his work on “Space Ghost Coast to Coast” and “Adult Swim,” Croker also did the voices of Dr. Weird and Steve on “Aqua Teen Hunger Force.” Additionally, he worked on Cartoon Network promos and other projects.
