The pay-per-view price for the highly anticipated boxing match between Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor has been set at $89.95.
The $89.95 price is for the standard definition package, but those who want high definition will have to pay $99.95, according to USA Today.
When "Money" Mayweather took on rival Manny Pacquiao in May 2015, most people thought that would likely be the last time they'd be set back by nearly $100 to watch a Mayweather fight, but the unblemished fighter has done it again.
UFC President Dana White spoke it into existence, though, when he said the pay-per-view price for the Mayweather-McGregor fight would "be more like the Pacquiao price," according to the MMA Junkie.
The Mayweather-Pacquiao bout brought in $400 million in revenue. Mayweather went home with a fat check of his own as he made $220 million from what was supposed to be "The Fight of the Century," even though it did everything but live up to the hype.
Mayweather could be getting a similar pay day come Aug. 26, and McGregor will see more money than he's received in any other fight in his life — that's if White's prediction of over 5 million pay-per-view buys proves to be correct.
UFC fans are accustomed to putting up $59.99 for pay-per-view fights, but White thinks those same fans will pay the extra money to see the UFC and boxing collide at the end of the summer.
"When you talk about superfights, this is a superfight – two different guys from two different sports going in and putting it on the line," White said. "Obviously, you can’t charge what you would normally charge for a pay-per-view. And saying there was pushback on the Mayweather-Pacquiao fight, there was anything but – it’s the biggest fight ever in the history of pay-per-view."
Showtime and CBS -- who inked a hefty deal with Mayweather back in 2013 -- expect they'll see some major buys for the Mayweather-McGregor fight as well, according to USA Today.
In fact, Stephen Espinoza, executive VP and general manager of Showtime Sports, has called the upcoming bout "unprecedented."
"This matchup is unprecedented. There has been overwhelming demand from fight fans, and it’s great to be able to deliver," he said.
