Courtney Cox, renowned for her portrayal of control-freak Monica in the legendary series “Friends,” and actor-ex David Arquette are officially divorced.
The couple, who are parents to 9-year-old daughter Coco, split in October 2010 after 11 years of marriage. Their divorce became final on May 28, which would have been their 13th wedding anniversary.
The couple filed for divorce in 2010, asking for joint physical and legal custody of Coco.

Cox, born in Birmingham, Ala., first gained fame in a music video as the teenager pulled onstage to dance with Bruce Springsteen during "Dancing in the Dark." The petite raven-haired beauty has most recently been starring in TBS' "Cougar Town," featuring older women dating younger men. In real life, she is seven years older than her former husband. In addition to starring in the show, she also produces it.
Cox and Arquette remain friendly. On an episode of "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" that aired earlier this year on Jan. 7, Cox said, "He’s my best friend in the world. I love him." She went on to say that they appreciated each other more as friends than as a married couple.
Arquette is well known for his quirkiness. He and Cox met in 1996 on the slasher movie "Scream." He worked with Cox on "Cougar Town" as an executive producer.
