Actresses and buddies Courteney Cox and Jennifer Aniston met up on a Mexico beach for a mini "Friends" reunion before the New Year.

The two were photographed in their bikinis, tanning in the exclusive Puerto Los Cabos gated community, which costs about $9,500 a night, Us Weekly reported.

Aniston, 44, arrived there by private jet with fiancé Justin Theroux, 42, along with talk show host Jimmy Kimmel, wife Molly McNearney and Meilani Weiss. The group was later joined by Cox, 49, radio shock jock Howard Stern and his wife Beth.

"Courteney was hanging out with Jen and they seemed to be as close as ever," a source told Us Weekly. "They spent a lot of time talking by the pool and laughing together with Justin."

Created by David Crane and Marta Kaufman, "Friends" became one of the most successful sitcoms in television history, running for 238 episodes over 10 seasons, from 1994 to 2004. The show established the careers of Cox and Aniston, along with Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, Matthew Perry and David Schwimmer.

Aniston guest starred on "Cougar Town," which stars Cox, in 2010 and Cox appeared at Aniston's holiday party on Dec. 8.

A source told E! News that Aniston and Theroux seemed "happy, relaxed and looking forward to their break." The group reportedly plans to ring in the New Year at the Mexican resort.

Anniston and Theroux spent time with Theroux's family, including his mom, in Bel Air during Christmas.

Aniston's movie career is going strong. She appeared in "We Are the Millers" and "Life of Crime" this past year. She is scheduled to appear in "Squirrels to the Nut" and "Horrible Bosses 2" in 2014. Both films do not have release dates yet.

Cox's "Cougar Town," is TBS's top original primetime series. It is currently in its fifth season. During Season 4, "Cougar Town," averaged 2.8 million weekly viewers, including 1.7 million viewers in the coveted 18-49 demographic.
