Craig Sager, the Turner Sports NBA sideline reporter of more than 30 years who was known for his outlandish jackets and suits, has died at the age of 65 from acute myeloid leukemia.
Sager was a reporter with Turner Sports for more than 30 years and died Thursday, days after being inducted into the Sports Broadcasting Hall of Fame.
“There will never be another Craig Sager,” Turner President David Levy said, CNN reported. “His incredible talent, tireless work ethic and commitment to his craft took him all over the world covering sports.”
Sager is survived by his wife, Stacy, and five children: Kacy, Craig Jr., Krista, Riley, and Ryan.
Many people from his kids to NBA stars to his many fans took to Twitter to share their memories and condolences.
