Daimen Nielsen pranked his business-tripping mother in the baggage claim at an Arkansas airport with a sign reading, "Welcome Home From Prison Mom," and the gag has now gone viral on social media, KTVT reported.
The 4-year-old boy, who apparently got plenty of help from his dad Brandon Nielsen, showed up at the Fort Smith Regional Airport to greet Barbara Nielsen, who works for a manufacturer and was on a business trip to Michigan, the "Today" show said.
"I was on two flights that day and both got delayed," said Barbara Nielsen. "I landed at about six o'clock, and I told my husband, 'Make sure you have my baby there.' I didn't want him breaking any TSA rules if he was running around. So, I get there, and I see my husband, but not yet my son. So, I turn the corner, and I see him (with the sign)."
Nielsen, who apparently has a good sense of humor, posted the photo on her Facebook page and that's where it went viral. Friend Jessica Williams reposted it and the photo has been shared nearly 150,000 times and liked more than 89,000 times.
"Brandon is a jerk. LOL," Barbara Nielsen said in the caption, clearly pointing out her husband as the culprit. "This is a sign Daimen was holding when I got off the plane."
Barbara Nielson admitted to "Today" that she found great humor in the sign.
"(Damien) was holding (the sign) with a huge and beautiful smile," said Barbara Nielsen. "But he has no idea what it says! He was just happy to be holding something. Of course, I gave him a big ol' hug. And my husband is laughing and rolling."
