Daniel Craig showed a different face at the 71st British Academy Film Awards, one in stark contrast to his rugged good looks that fans have come to know.
Wonderwall reported how the “007” James Bond star looked puffy, old and unrecognizable when he arrived at the event in London on Feb. 18, leaving viewers baffled as to what exactly had happened to Craig’s appearance.
The actor was attending the BAFTA ceremony to present the best film award, but his “plastic” look became the hot topic, dominating headlines and social media platforms, The Mercury News reported.
Many wondered whether Craig’s altered appearance had something to do with fillers, Botox or plastic surgery, which Harley Street cosmetic doctor David Jack didn’t rule out.
“His face looks swollen and unnatural,” Jack told The Sun. “It could be a number of different things but the most obvious would be overdoing Botox and fillers. It looks as if he’s had a high dosage of Botox in his top and lower face as well as lots of fillers.”
Jack added that, if the use of Botox and fillers was the cause of Craig’s swollen face, then he recommended the actor “lays off Botox and has a correctional treatment to dissolve the fillers.”
