Daryl Hall — half of the Hall & Oates duo — and his wife Amanda Jane Hall are getting divorced after six years of marriage.
Although Amanda Hall appears to have
filed the papers in May, TMZ reported they just “surfaced” this week.
The two married in 2009 and have no children, TMZ said. Amanda Hall, also identified in the media as Amanda Aspinall, is a British socialite and daughter of the late John Aspinall, a gambling tycoon.
Hall, 68, was previously married to Bryna Lublin.
The couple lived in Connecticut with Amanda Hall's two children, one of whom is March, a daughter who sang backup on Hall’s 2011 album, “Laughing Down Crying,”
the New York Post said.
News that the two were divorcing spread on the Internet, where many made word plays with Hall’s songs.
One person proved this tweet true with his comment on the TMZ article: “Her Private Eyes were watching him and she caught him with a Maneater so she lost that lovin' feeling and she's gone, gone, gone.”
