Dean McDermott, Tori Spelling's husband, is back at home after checking himself into rehab in January, slipping right back into his parental role as he was photographed juggling two car seats and trailed by a child.
Us Weekly published several photos of McDermott, who looked his usual scraggly self. He is seen being followed by Stella, 5, one of the four children he has with Spelling, who was conspicuously absent from the photos.

McDermott announced in January that he would enter rehab after allegations of an affair. At the time, he apologized for the harm he had caused his family, telling Us Weekly, “I take full responsibility for my actions and have voluntarily checked myself into a treatment center to address some health and personal issues. I am grateful to be getting the help I need so I can become the husband and father my family deserves.”
But a source
told Us Weekly last week that Spelling isn’t at all sure of her marriage’s future. “Tori keeps waffling," the source said. “Even if they reconcile, it's going to be hard to trust him.”
A separate source, though, told the magazine that Spelling wants their four children to grow up with their dad at home. Along with Stella, the couple has Liam, 6, Hattie, 2, and Finn, 17 months.
Us Weekly broke the news of McDermott’s alleged affair with Emily Goodhand in December. McDermott had been in Canada for his show, “Chopped: Canada,” and met Goodhand through friends. He apparently told the 28-year-old that he and Spelling had a sexless marriage.
McDermott appears devoted to his four children,
posting often about them on his website. In January, he posted a picture of himself with Spelling and two of their kids, holding a sign that said “Happy New Years – The McDermotts 2014.”
Fans haven’t been shy about posting their wishes on McDermott’s blog: “I really do hope that you and Tori will be able to work things out as I love you together and your family!” one wrote on a blog post about Finn’s first trip to the zoo.
