Demi Moore crashed ex-hubby Bruce Willis' roast over the weekend in Los Angeles, where she had the audience roaring with laughter, Us Weekly reported.
The Comedy Central event, which was recorded at the Hollywood Palladium and led by Roast Master Joseph Gordon-Levitt, featured a lineup of roasters that included Edward Norton, Cybill Shepherd, Jeff Ross and Martha Stewart, but Moore's appearance was kept a secret right up until the last minute.
The audience was reportedly in stitches as the 55-year-old actress walked out and made her way to the stage.
Grabbing the mic, Moore launched into a series of jabs aimed at Willis, who she was married to "for the first three 'Die Hard' movies" because "the last two sucked," Variety noted.
Moore and Willis married on Nov. 21, 1987, but chose to go their separate ways a decade later, The Independent said.
They have since remained good friends and even stood by one another's side through other failed relationships such as Moore's divorce from Ashton Kutcher.
Moore did not hesitate to bring up her failed marriage to Willis at the roast.
"People wonder why our marriage came to an end, and in all honesty, I think it was because some jealousy started to creep in," she said, according to Variety. "I think Bruce never really got over the fact that I rocked the bald look better than he did."
She also joked that, after their divorce, Willis said he considered the end of their marriage his biggest failure.
"But Bruce, don't be so hard on yourself, you've had much bigger failures," she said. "I mean Planet Hollywood, 'Hudson Hawk,' 'Striking Distance,' campaigning for Michael Dukakis, turning down Clooney's role in 'Ocean's Eleven' to focus on playing the harmonica?"
All jokes aside, Moore ended her roast with a tribute to Willis, remarking how proud she was of him and how they were a family, Us Weekly said.
