A Detroit police commander made a huge mistake when he unwittingly forwarded the height, weight, and bra sizes of all female officers to the entire department in an email.
The statistics were collected during measurements for new bulletproof vests. Three weeks ago, when the gear arrived, Commander Dwayne Love forwarded an email to the department announcing the arrival of the vests. He wasn't aware that the email included an attached Excel spreadsheet with all the numbers.

"On the third page, the females were listed. Unfortunately and embarrassingly, the cup sizes of the females were listed on that third page, and it was really just a clerical error,"
Assistant Chief James White told MyFoxDetroit.com.
White said he plans to meet with the female officers to personally apologize for the mistake.
"Conscientious, very hard working command officer," White said of Love. "However, it's an embarrassing situation, and I'm going to be addressing the issue formally with him over the next couple weeks. Once we complete our investigation, there will be corrective action."
Several of the female officers said they were made fun of after the information leaked and a few have even filed grievances with the department.
The bra sizes disaster is just the latest woe facing
Detroit after the city filed for bankruptcy last month. Citing about $18 billion in debt, Detroit became the largest U.S. city to file for bankruptcy protection under Chapter 9, bypassing Stockton, Calif., which filed in 2012.
"This was a difficult decision but it’s clearly the right decision in my view because there were no other viable alternatives," Michigan Gov. Rick Snyder told reporters after the July 18 filing. "If you look at Detroit and you consider the situation, we have a great city, but a city that’s been going downhill for the last 60 years."
