Dolores O'Riordan's memorial was thronged by thousands who gathered to see the Cranberries singer in her open casket at a church in Ireland on Saturday.
While authorities await test results to confirm a cause of death, the 46-year-old rocker lay in inside Joseph's Church in Limerick, ENews reported.
Fans from around the world queued outside in the wind and rain to pay their respects to the music icon during a four-hour public reposing, The Irish Times reported.
Cranberries songs played softly in the background as fans solemnly entered the church to bid their farewell.
O'Riordan’s mother and six siblings were also in attendance at the ceremony along with her bandmates, who had laid a floral tribute featuring the inscription “the song has ended, but the memories linger on,” Billboard reported.
On Monday, O'Riordan’s remains were being moved to Cross's Funeral Home in Ballyneety, where the public viewing will continue.
Her funeral will be held at St. Aible's Church in Ballybricken on Tuesday, after which she will be laid to rest in a private burial.
A cause of death is yet to be determined.
O'Riordan was found dead in a hotel room in London last Monday and an inquest into the sudden death was opened on Friday in London.
The hearing was adjourned until 3 April, when a date for a full inquest will be set, Sky News reported.
A series of tests have been carried out to determine her cause of death and the court is awaiting the results, but the coroner’s officer, Stephen Earl, said police do not consider the death suspicious, Time reported.
