The night will include stand-up performances, pre-taped messages for Rickles, looks back at his career highlights, and will reportedly end with an address from the Queens-born comic himself.
"The genius of Rickles is in the danger, nobody is safe, and what you can expect is a night of comedy from these superstars worthy of a legend. It truly will be 'One Night Only,'" Casey Patterson, executive producer and executive vice president of event production and talent development at Viacom Entertainment Group, said in a statement.
At a recent appearance at the American Film Institute’s tribute to Shirley MacLaine, Rickles displayed his trademark wit when he hurled insults at everyone from President Barack Obama to Jack Nicholson, and many expect as much during his own tribute this year.
Rickles, 87, has acted in dozens of films since the late 1950s, including Scorsese's "Casino" and Disney's "Toy Story" films, as well as a long list of television shows including "The Twilight Zone," "The Beverly Hillbillies," "Gilligan's Island," as well as his own specials.
He's also penned two books about his life in Hollywood published by Simon and Schuster.
The event is being produced in conjunction with Don Mischer Productions.
