A drone caught "peeping" into a woman's window in Seattle over the weekend reportedly belongs to a company that takes aerial photographs of the city's skyline views.
Lisa Pleiss, who lives on the 26th floor of an apartment building in downtown Seattle, happened to look out her window around 7:45 a.m. Sunday and noticed a drone hovering just outside it.
"It was freaky," Pleiss told KGW.com. "You don't expect to be walking around indecent in your apartment and then have this thing potentially recording you."

Pleiss immediately reported the incident to her concierge who went outside and saw two men controlling the drone. The pilots also reportedly had a tripod and video camera, and quickly packed up and
drove off in a white Mazda, according to the Seattle Times.
The concierge then contacted the police.
The next day, John Vaughn of Skyris Imaging came forward and said it was his company's drone that Pleiss saw.
"Yesterday, when I found out that there was a news story, I immediately contacted the Seattle Police Department, let them know my name, the name of my company, what we were there for and who my client was," Vaughn told KGW.com. "Then, they called my client to confirm that we were there for a reasonable purpose."
Skyris Imaging reportedly uses a team of six drones to canvas the city and take photos of the skyline for architects and real estate agents.
"So that an architect or a developer or a leasing agent can say to somebody who's looking at making a lease on the 20th floor, ''I like that view,'" Vaughn said.
Vaughn even called Pleiss to set the record straight.
"We had a very nice conversation and we'll be sending her a print of the photograph we ended up taking on Sunday morning," he said.
