Duck Commander, the duck call company that made the Robertsons of "Duck Dynasty" multi-millionaires, will be sponsoring several sporting events, including a NASCAR race at the Texas Motor Speedway and the Independence Bowl college football game.
The Shreveport Times reported that the famous Louisiana clan would be holding a news conference on Wednesday to officially announce their sponsorship of the Independence Bowl.
"We can confirm that Independence Bowl Foundation officials are very excited about a partnership with Duck Commander," Missy Setters, the executive director of the Independence Bowl, told the Shreveport Times.

The Independence Bowl is an NCAA-sanctioned Division I college football bowl game that has been played since 1976, the bicentennial, which is the reason for its name. It is the 11th-oldest bowl game in college football. The game will be played at Independence Stadium in Shreveport, La., however a date has yet to be announced.
The men behind the Duck Commander brand will reportedly be shelling out upwards of $800,000 to sponsor the event, replacing former title sponsor AdvoCare International, a marketing company that sells sports performance products, which last year ended its sponsorship.
The sponsorship agreement is said to be a six-year contract between the Robertsons and the Independence Bowl, according to Shreveport Times sports columnist Tim Fletcher.
The Robertson family patriarch, Phil, had been a standout quarterback at nearby Louisiana Tech University, prior to launching his successful duck calling business, having at one point apparently beat out Hall of Fame NFL Quarterback Terry Bradshaw for the starting job,
Fox Sports reported.
A video of Phil Robertson demonstrating his football skills while playing for Louisiana Tech University is featured below. Bradshaw went on to win four Super Bowl titles between 1975 and 1980 with the Pittsburgh Steelers.
The NASCAR race, which is being called the Duck Commander 500, is reportedly a three-year contract with an option for three additional years. It is unclear how much the Robertson family will be shelling out for the Duck Commander 500 race, a single-day annual event that sees upwards of 150,000 in attendance on average.
