Dwayne Johnson took to social media with a public service announcement over the weekend, just days after the wrestler-turned-actor's mother and cousin were hit head-on by a drunk driver.
It's not clear when or where the car accident occurred, but Johnson, aka "The Rock," tweeted about it Sunday and also posted a statement on Instagram.

"First reaction is to find the person who did this and do unrelenting harm to them," Johnson captioned the same photo on Instagram. "But then you realize the most important thing is my family lived thru this and we can hug each other that much tighter these days. Hug your own family tighter today and be grateful you can tell them you love them. #BearHugsAndGratitude."
WWE Diva Lina Fanene, Johnson's cousin who was involved in the accident, also posted about the near-death experience on social media.
"'Everything happens for a reason' . . . Not sure why the very intoxicated woman decided to drive her car, head first, into our car . . . but I do know that we are extremely lucky to be alive and that everything we have is fixable," Fanene wrote. "It's a bump in the road, but we will get past it and be stronger than before! I'm grateful for all the wonderful LOVE I have received from everyone. My family & friends are AMAZING! Life is wonderful!"
No word yet on what injuries Johnson's mom and cousin sustained or what
happened to the drunk driver, according to CNN.
In an eerie instance of foreshadowing, Fanene posted a "selfie" of the two women in their car before the accident.
