Eagle Mom's Snow Day Still Means Keeping Her Nest Warm

By    |   Friday, 06 March 2015 11:37 AM EST

An eagle mom in Pennsylvania braved the snow Thursday to protect her eggs, even though that meant spending the day buried up to the beak in the white stuff.

The Bald Eagle Live Stream, focused in on a nest in Pennsylvania's Codorus State Park, gave people across the country a front-row seat to Thursday's snowstorm and another amazing sight: A mother eagle facing the elements to protect her two eggs.

Despite being blanketed in freezing cold snow, the eagle remained resolute and steadfast. The Pennsylvania Game Commission assured some concerned viewers that the eggs and mother eagle would be fine.

Twitter users cheered the eagle mom's unwavering parenting skills.
