Portia de Rossi has broken her silence to speak up for her wife, Ellen DeGeneres, who has come under fire amid allegations of a toxic workplace and claims that she is nothing like the "nice" image portrayed on her talk show.

The actress voiced her support for DeGeneres on Monday in an Instagram post that featured a blue-and-white poster that read, "I Stand By Ellen."

"To all our fans....we see you," de Rossi captioned the image. "Thank you for your support. #stopbotattacks #IStandWithEllenDeGeneres #IStandByEllen #IstandByEllenDeGeneres"

The post follows a report that James Corden will replace DeGeneres on her talk show. Employees of DeGeneres' show have come forward with allegations of racism, bullying, and sexual harassment, which prompted an internal investigation into the claims against the "The Ellen DeGeneres Show."

Insiders have now revealed that NBC Entertainment Chairman Paul Telegdy, who is involved in the probe, is a "huge fan of James" and has him "high on his wanted list for talent and a long term replacement for Ellen."

Last week, a report claimed that DeGeneres was seriously considering ending her TV show. An insider at Telepictures revealed to the Daily Mail that the talk show host felt she could not go on and the only way to "recover her personal brand was to shut down the show."

The source added: "The truth is she knew what was going on, it's her show. The buck stops with her. She can blame every executive under the sun — but Ellen is ultimately the one to blame."

On Thursday, DeGeneres sent an emotional message to the staff of her show saying she was taking steps to improve the culture on set following accusations of a hostile working environment.

"As we've grown exponentially, I've not been able to stay on top of everything and relied on others to do their jobs as they knew I'd want them done. Clearly some didn't," she wrote. "That will now change and I'm committed to ensuring this does not happen again."
