Elvis Presley’s former Bel Air mansion has been put up for sale; visitors to the estate are rumored to have included Frank Sinatra, Queen Elizabeth, Ronald Reagan, and Elizabeth Taylor.

Elvis Presley also famously hosted a party for the Beatles at the mansion, House Beautiful reported.

The asking price for the mansion is $23,450,000, according to the listing on the Coldwell Banker Homes website. It features six bedrooms and seven full bathrooms with 28 rooms in all that add up to an impressive 6,393 square feet. Photos show a pool, industrial-looking stainless steel chef’s kitchen, large rooftop terrace, and beautiful views of the Los Angeles cityscape.

Apartment Therapy called the mansion “one of the most talked-about celebrity homes,” which was bought by Zsa Zsa Gabor in 1974 and also was owned by Howard Hughes, who originally built the home.

In addition, the estate was the location for the movies “Argo”  (2012) and “Behind the Candelabra” (2013), Apartment Therapy noted.

Gabor lived in the house until her death and decorated it to fit the period of the French Court of Louis XV, including gold-trimmed furniture and light fixtures in the bedrooms.

The listing agent has offered two options to the home’s buyer: to remodel and update the existing home, or to knock it down and build a new 24,000-foot residence on the property, which architectural firm Harrison Design wants to construct there, Apartment Therapy reported.

A poll on the House Beautiful website is currently 77 percent in favor of preserving the history of the home, with only 23 percent in favor of knocking it down.
