Eminem threw musical punches at Caitlyn Jenner, Bill Cosby, and numerous others when he performed a freestyle rap on Sirius Thursday before he talked about the new movie "Southpaw."
“Hate and see who gives a f***/I invented p****/And this a true statement: I see the b***h in you, Caitlyn/I keep the pistol tucked like Bruce Jenner’s d***/No disrespect, though/Not at all/No pun intended, that took a lot of balls," he rapped.
In a five-minute plus song on "Sway in the Morning" peppered with his usual obscenities, Eminem even wandered into politics, taking a poke at Hillary Clinton — "But Hillary, I promise to wipe my server clean if you face subpoenas/Got a name that speaks for itself like Anthony Weiner" — and Donald Trump.
Eminem said his raps aren’t intended to be taken
personally, the New York Daily News reported.
"The rhyme, by the way, is all in fun," he said. "I just say s**t to say it. It's very rarely personal. If it was ever personal, somebody would know."
Still, his shots at Cosby were direct: "Awful/I made monopoly off misogyny, sodomy/How many chocolatey JELL-O pops could he possibly lace/Walking atrocity, no wonder you scoff at me/It’s still obvious/I’m as off-putting as Bill Cosby is.”
Eminem, who in the past has agreed that his raps are often misogynistic, veered into that territory as he talked about numerous female stars, including fantasies of dropping Spanish Fly into Brandy and Janet Jackson’s drinks. Few were safe in the rap, and Eminem even spit about giving former U.S. Attorney General Janet Reno an Ambien to precipitate a threesome.
“People can call me what they want for this but — Eminem is one of the greatest rappers of all time,” one person wrote on
the YouTube page that features the rap.
Many on the page claimed it was impossible that Eminem was able to freestyle that long and creative of a rap, arguing that he had to have written it out ahead of time.
Eminem was on the show to promote the movie "Southpaw." On Twitter Friday morning, he took questions from fans, many about the movie.
