Firefighter Justin Deierling turned an ordinary moment into a truly special one when he proposed to his girlfriend Megan Zahorec, a counselor at Ohio's Greentown Intermediate School, during a fire drill.
Deierling and Zahorec met six months ago when Deierling volunteered to pass out water to children at the school's walk-a-thon near North Canton and the couple quickly fell in love. Adam Deierling, Justin Deierling's brother who works for Saturn Entertainment Studios, captured the proposal on video and
told Today.com that the stunt was all Justin's idea.

"He didn't let anyone in on it except a few guys at the firehouse, a couple people at the school, and then me, of course," Adam Deierling said.
The "Fire Drill Engagement" video has been viewed by more than 328,000 on YouTube since it was posted on Monday.
The video starts at the fire station, where an older firefighter, holding Deierling's engagement ring, wishes him a happy, long marriage. A large sign that says. "Miss Z. Will you marry me? Justin," was placed on the fire truck and hidden.
Greentown students and staff were all in the front of the building for a fire drill when Deierling and the rest of the firefighters arrived.
Zahorec, 27, did not catch on to the proposal until Deierling, 31, unveiled the sign, walked up to her with full fire gear on, and dropped to one knee. She said "Yes."
"I knew instantly that she was someone special by the way that she interacted with the kids,"
Justin Deierling told the Huffington Post. "I wanted to incorporate how we met and the kids, who she adores, into the proposal."
Deierling planned the proposal with the school for two weeks. To top things off, the firefighter even brought ring pops for all the students after the fire drill.
"Everyone went nuts when they revealed the ('will you marry me') sign and Justin took a knee," Adam Deierling told the Huffington Post. "It was all very exciting."
