Jesse and Melissa Meek of Happy Valley, Oregon, announced their pregnancy with a rap set to the “Fresh Prince of Bel-Air” theme song, and the video has gone viral.

The YouTube video, published April 5, had more than 3.3 million views as of Wednesday afternoon, and numerous news sites had written about it.

Melissa Meek told KPTV Fox 12 that she was surprised at how much attention the video had drawn.

"It was completely unexpected. Like, that was the last thing we thought would happen, that it would blow up to ... what it has," she said.

It took about five takes to get the song right. The couple is considering a sequel once they know the baby’s gender.

Twitter users shared mixed reactions to the "Fresh Prince" pregnancy rap.
