'Full House' Cast Remembers Bob Saget 2 Years After His Death

The cast of "Full House" paid tribute to Bob Saget two years after his death.

John Stamos, Dave Coulier, Jodie Sweetin, Candace Cameron Bure, and Andrea Barber came together to speak about their late co-star and how his death affected them.

Saget, who famously played Danny Tanner on the classic sitcom, was found dead Jan. 9, 2022, at age 65. 

"It almost gets weirder as time goes on, because I'm like, Wow, it's been a long time since I've heard from Bob," Barber said in a clip of the conversation shared on social media by Stamos. "And then I'm like, Oh. You know? It's so weird to have gone two years without getting a crazy long text from him or a neurotic phone call."

Sweetin admitted that often she was taken aback after seeing someone in public "that in my peripheral looks like Bob."

"It has stopped me more than once," she said.

Stamos said the grief "never goes away."

"I don't even want to get used to it," he said. "I think I still want to be hurting from it, but he doesn't want us to be that way, right?"

Bure became tearful as she said Saget is the "closest person" she has lost.

"It's been so nice to have people just sit in the grief with you, and I never realized that before," she said.

Saget was found dead in a hotel room in Orlando, Florida. He died from head trauma, according to a statement released by his family. Authorities concluded that Saget had "accidentally hit the back of his head on something, thought nothing of it and went to sleep," according to E! News.

"It is most probable that the decedent suffered an unwitnessed fall backwards and struck the posterior aspect of his head," the medical examiner's report stated. "A toxicology analysis did not reveal any illicit drugs or toxins. The manner of death is accident."

According to a death investigation report released by the Orange County Sheriff's Office, hotel security discovered Saget unresponsive, Yahoo! Entertainment noted. His family had requested a wellness check when they were unable to reach him. In the report, the responding officer stated that he checked for signs of foul play.
