The 5.7-inch screen gives users that more tablet-like feel that’s making the over-sized phone market grow, and
Business Insider even wrote an article comparing the Galaxy and iPhone 5 to, yes, a Pop-Tart. Side-by-side pictures of the three really offer an idea of how big the new Galaxy phablet is, compared to the much smaller iPhone 5 and a strawberry frosted Pop-Tart.
Computer World gave the Galaxy Note 3 a mixed review, but did point out the potential of that S pen.
“Even if you're convinced you'd never want a stylus, a few days with the Galaxy Note 3 might just change your mind,” wrote Computer World reviewer JR Raphael. “The phone’s S Pen is a fun and potentially productivity-boosting element of the device that goes a long way in setting it apart from the competition.”
Although Raphael thought the pen needed a little more heft in terms of size, its ease of use and functionality more than made up for that.
Overall, Computer World liked the phablet’s display, quick charging and data transfer capabilities from its USB 3.0, and the S pen stylus (especially the ability to transfer handwriting into text). But the computer mag dinged the Galaxy Note 3 on its design, which seemed cheaper than comparable phablets, some performance issues, software errors, and a challenging user interface.
