"Game of Thrones" stars Kit Harington and Rose Leslie have become parents. The couple welcomed their first child, a baby boy, into the world, Harington's publicist confirmed Tuesday.
"[They are] very, very happy!" she told Fox News.
The news comes after the couple was spotted the same day out with their son in London. In the photos, made available by Page Six, the pair are holding hands as they walk down the sidewalk. Leslie, 34, is holding their newborn in a carrier on her chest while Harington, also 34, carries a large orange bag from Sainsbury's.
This is the first child for both Leslie and Harington.
Leslie revealed that they were expecting in the September issue of Make magazine, for which she debuted her baby bump. In October Leslie spoke about becoming a new mom with the New York Post.
"I am thrilled to be expecting, and I can’t wait to meet the new member of our family!" she said.
The actress and her former "Game of Thrones" co-star played on-screen lovers in the hit HBO series. They sparked dating rumors in 2012 but only confirmed their relationship during an appearance on the red carpet in 2016.
They were engaged in 2017, and announced the news the traditional way, in a formal notice published in the Times of London newspaper, which described the couple as "Kit, younger son of David and Deborah Harington of Worcestershire, and Rose, middle daughter of Sebastian and Candy Leslie of Aberdeenshire."
The following year Harington and Leslie tied the knot in a romantic ceremony at Kirkton of Rayne church in Scotland.
