The entire plot for Season 7 of HBO's hit show "Game of Thrones" may have been leaked online, but some are skeptical about the true nature of the leaks.
According to The Huffington Post, a Reddit user by the account name awayforthelads posted a long list of spoilers online around Oct. 18, and the spoilers were detailed enough to give away nearly the entire plot of Season 7. Many fans thought the postings were fake, however, until the user’s account was deleted without explanation and certain key details were confirmed by another leak.
Still others believe HBO is the one leaking the information, and that not all of it may be true. Other Reddit users such as starkandlannister, who also claims he has inside information about Season 7, have refuted the leaks, and some wouldn’t put it past HBO to try to steer fans wrong to keep them guessing, The Huffington Post pointed out.
HBO made a huge fuss when unaired episodes and major spoilers ended up online during Season 5, but have been quiet this time, the Daily Mail noted.
There’s really no way to know for sure whether the reports are real until the show is released and fans can watch it for themselves — which might be entirely the point, no matter who leaked the information.
