Gene Simmons' Kiss face from his days with the heavy-cosmetics rock band has been naturally captured by a newborn calf in Texas, and the internet has gone udderly crazy over it.
The calf, born last Friday at a ranch near Kerrville, bears a striking resemblance to Simmons' butterfly-shaped black marking which the performer used with Kiss, the Huffington Post thinks.
As a bonus, the calf named Little Genie was also photographed with its tongue sticking out, like Simmons, and has been posted over and over.
The BBC News said Little Genie was quickly compared to Simmons once the calf started making the rounds on social media.
The photo eventually caught the attention of Simmons, who took toTwitter.
Drew Taylor, of the local marketing company Hill Country Visitor, told HuffPost he shared the photo on Facebook on Saturday and it took off.
"I didn't realize how uncanny the comparison was until a friend put the two pictures side by side," said Taylor.
Taylor said Little Genie's "kiss" face may also save her hide. He said the calf may become the mascot for a local steakhouse instead of its next meal.
"She's too cute a calf," Taylor told HuffPost.
