George Gray, announcer for "The Price Is Right," was manhandled by a treadmill on Thursday.
"They said it couldn't be done! It's an off-road motorcycle, a new range, and a new treadmill!" Gray bellowed into the microphone as he introduced a contestant's shiny new prizes while running backwards on said treadmill.
When a stagehand reached out to hand him a piece of paper, he suffered an epic pratfall, which was rendered on social media in real time as well as a slow-motion loop.
The contestant and host Drew Carey couldn't contain their laughter as the show briefly morphed into an episode of "America's Funniest Home Videos."
Giggles and other displays of schadenfreude were even seen on the faces of the models, as well as the audience.
Luckily, the 47-year-old Gray recovered quite quickly, and finished his script. He even hammed it up, hanging his body exhaustedly over the treadmill, and joking "Asprin not included!"
It should be noted that just before the incident, Carey learned that his contestant was from Inglewood, and took it upon himself to quote rapper Dr. Dre with enthusiasm. Between that and the fall, we're not sure which was more painful.
