George W. Bush Photobombs Reporter at Texas Rangers Game

By    |   Thursday, 18 May 2017 05:13 PM EDT

Former President George W. Bush photobombed a TV reporter during a live broadcast at a Texas Rangers game Wednesday night.

The 42nd president and former Rangers owner photobombed Fox Sports reporter Emily Jones on his way to his seat at Globe Life Park stadium during the Rangers’ game against the Philadelphia Phillies, according to the New York Daily News.

Bush turned to the cameras and said "hey" as he walked by.

Jones wasn’t fazed, though, as she continued the live segment with no "hiccups," according to the Daily News.

Jones took to Twitter afterward, calling the moment her "favorite photobomb ever!"

Bush’s daughter, Jenna, responded to her dad’s photobomb that went viral, according to the Daily Mail.

"Every time I land [after a flight], I feel like my dad becomes another meme," Jenna jokingly said.

She said this isn’t the first time her father has made a public appearance that’s made her chuckle in his post-President life.

"I was like dad, at the inauguration, be at your best behavior, and there he is with the poncho. You can’t take him anywhere," Jenna said.

"I actually texted him and said, ‘Dad, photobombed somebody?’ and he goes, ‘What’s a photobomb?’ He had no idea, he was like ‘What do you mean, did it happen at a baseball game?’" she added.

The Rangers won the game 9-3.
