Geraldo Rivera Has Nearly Nude Anthony Weiner Selfie Moment on Twitter

By    |   Monday, 22 July 2013 07:05 AM EDT

Geraldo Rivera caused a stir on Twitter Sunday when he posted a picture of himself wearing only his rose-colored glasses and a well-placed towel.

"70 is the new 50," read the caption on Rivera's selfie, which he later deleted.

But his 43,800 followers had already gotten an eyeful of the TV host and the damage was done.

"This is exactly the kind of thing that happens when I fall asleep first," Rivera's wife Erica told E! News. "Thank God we have towels in the bathroom. But I'm proud my husband looks so hot!"

Rivera summed up the incident with another tweet later on Sunday.
