Gordon Ramsay, the British celebrity chef known for his sharp tongue on shows like "Hell's Kitchen," completed the grueling Hawaii Ironman World Championship triathlon Saturday in an amazing display of endurance.
Ramsay, 46, finished all three Ironman events — a 2.4-mile ocean swim, 112-mile bike ride, and full 26.2-mile marathon — in
14 hours, 4 minutes, and 48 seconds, the Los Angeles Times reported.

The race began at 7 a.m. local time in Kailua Kona and, according to Ironman rules, all contestants must finish by midnight or they're cut off from competing. Ramsay finished just after 9 p.m.
The profanity prone chef posted a video of his finish on the celebrity fan site whosay.com.
Even getting into the Ironman triathlon is an achievement in itself. Every year, more than 80,000 athletes try and qualify but only 1,900 women and men ultimately make the cut.
But it was no problem for Ramsay, who has nearly 20 marathons and ultra-marathons under his belt, including last year's London Marathon.
Many of Ramsay's fans and fellow chefs took to Twitter to show support for his amazing athletic feat.
Footage from the Hawaii Ironman triathlon will air on NBC Nov. 16.
