16-year-old Grace Bush earned her college diploma from Florida Atlantic University on Friday with a 3.8 grade point average, just a week before she receives her high school diploma from Florida Atlantic University high school.

"It’s kind of weird that I graduated college before high school," she told CBS Miami. "I started when I was 13 at Broward College and I also took my classes throughout the summer, so I was able to finish it before four years," said Grace Bush.

Bush's impressive feat is a testament to her hard work, as well as that of her parents, who homeschool all nine of their children. She is the third oldest in her family, and the second to earn her degree early.

"My two older sisters are doing it and I’m the third to do it. My oldest sister already graduated and my second oldest sister is graduating in the summer," said Bush.

She said her parents can't afford to send all of their children to college, so they've utilized FAU's dual-enrollment program, which allows high performing students to earn college and high school credit simultaneously.

"At two years old she was reading and I was totally shocked," said her mother.

Bush said she is taking her bachelor's to law school, but will take a little break during the summer before taking the LSAT. She hopes to one day become chief justice of the United States.
