Gwyneth Paltrow is entangled in a feud with Vanity Fair magazine and now the actress is reportedly trying to get her Hollywood friends to do the same.
In an email to friends, Paltrow reportedly asked that they no longer
answer questions from Vanity Fair, an anonymous source told the New York Times.
"Vanity Fair is threatening to put me on the cover of their magazine," Paltrow reportedly wrote. "If you are asked for quotes or comments, please decline. Also, I recommend you all never do this magazine again."

The magazine's edginess showed up in stories on problems on the set of Brad Pitt’s "World War Z" movie and a story about Scientology when Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes split, the Times said.
At the time, Vanity Fair editor Graydon Carter responded to criticism on the Scientology story by saying, "We wouldn’t be doing our job if there wasn’t a little bit of tension between Vanity Fair and its subjects. In any given week, I can expect to hear from a disgruntled subject in Hollywood, Washington, or on Wall Street. That’s the nature of the beast."
Paltrow’s push back against what is considered an influential media giant may be a signal that stars aren’t bowing down to the media as they used to, the Times said.
"Everyone grovels to Graydon and other writers there and covets invitations to their parties," publicist Leslie Dart told the Times. "They’re going to be in for a rude awakening. I don’t think people care the way they used to anymore. It’s not important to them to grovel as they once did."
Paltrow's discontent may stem from rumors that a VF writer planned to write a story focusing on why Paltrow is so "polarizing," and
"why some people love to hate (or just plain love) the blond actress," E! Online wrote.
