A Swedish man learned the true meaning of "bacon wrapped" after suffering injuries in a bizarre pork-related accident.
The unidentified man was hurt after pallet of bacon weighing more than 1,300 pounds fell on him Thursday morning in Gamlestaden, Sweden. He was taken to a local hospital in western Sweden, where he remains.

The incident happened at about 7 a.m. local time in the meatpacking district in the city's historic section of Gothenburg's historic Gamlestaden district, where the man worked in a warehouse. A nearby trolley carrying the meat toppled over and covered the man in pork.
"It's a rather unusual accident, you might say," Police Spokesman Peter Adlersson
told Gothenburg newspaper The Local. "I don't know exactly how it happened, but somehow the trolley fell over. I've never heard of anything like this."
The extent of his injuries is unclear, but doctors confirmed to the paper that he wasn't seriously hurt.
Adlersson later said that the man sustained "minor back injuries."
The Swedish Work Environment Authority plans to investigate the mishap.
