Harvey Weinstein’s new accusers are taking sexual assault claims against him back to the 70s. The New York Times reported the Hollywood mogul allegedly raped Hope Exiner d’Amore in a hotel room nearly 40 years ago.
During this time Weinstein, who was a young concert promoter in Buffalo, also allegedly sexually assaulted Cynthia Burr in an incident that ended with forced oral sex in a hallway, the Times report said.
A dancer who briefly appeared in one of Weinstein’s movies, came forth and spoke out to the newspaper about her experience, claiming that the producer pushed her down on a bed and masturbated while straddling her in 2004.
He allegedly paid her to remain silent and not divulge information about the incident, the Times said.
Lacey Dorn is another woman who had to endure humiliation and assault after meeting Weinstein.
Speaking to the Times, she revealed how he groped her at a party in New York in 2011.
“I was so naïve, I didn’t say anything,” she said.
“And he didn’t say anything either. I just got out of the party as fast as possible.”
These new allegations come three weeks after details of Weinstein's history of alleged sexual misconduct first emerged and two days after Sopranos actress Annabella Sciorra accused Weinstein of rape, ABC News reported.
The Hollywood Reporter said Weinstein’s rep, Sallie Hofmeister, dismissed the claims, saying as she always does, “any allegations of non-consensual sex are unequivocally denied by Mr. Weinstein.”
