Heather Elvis of South Carolina went missing in December, and this week it was revealed that she was having a relationship with the married man charged in her kidnapping and murder.
Prosecutors alleged Monday that Sidney Moorer, 38, and Elvis, 20, began seeing each other in June. It ended in October when Moorer's wife, Tammy Moorer, 42, learned of the relationship and
began threatening Elvis via text message, according to CBS affiliate WBTW.

A judge denied bond for the couple at the hearing, citing the seriousness of the charges, the nature of the case, and the potential penalties they face.
Elvis' body has not been found, but Horry County Police charged the couple with murder.
The couples' lawyers, Kirk Truslow and Greg McCollum, originally requested bonds, arguing the suspects were not a flight risk and did not pose a threat to the community.
Truslow called the charges "extremely circumstantial at best," WBTW reported. Of his client, he argued that "nothing points towards tendency of violence."
The prosecution presented first-time evidence in the case, including communications between Elvis and the Moorers from early November through the night Elvis went missing, Dec. 18.
The prosecution alleged that after discovering the relationship, Tammy apparently went to work with her husband — a contract maintenance man for area restaurants — and monitored his phone and handcuffed him.
According to WBTW, in one of her messages to Elvis on Nov. 1, Tammy said, "someone's about to get their a— beat down. your b— is about to take his last breath... You can tell me where you are right now or I will find out another way..."
Elvis apparently disappeared weeks later after going on a date. However, the man she went on a date with has been ruled out as a suspect.
According to the evidence presented, she received a call after the date from Sidney Moorer, who was calling from a payphone. After a nearly five-minute conversation with him, Elvis called an unidentified contact in Florida and told them Moorer told her he was leaving his wife, WBTW reported.
She reportedly tried to call Sidney Moorer unsuccessfully on the payphone, and eventually called him on his cell phone. They talked for approximately four minutes before Elvis drove to the Peachtree Boat Landing. She attempted to call him a few more times before her cell data ended at 3:41 a.m.
Her car was found abandoned the next day.
The prosecution also presented security camera footage showing a car similar to the Moorers' approaching then leaving the boat landing. A search of the Moorers' home uncovered additional evidence in February, when the couple's charges of obstruction of justice and indecent exposure escalated to kidnapping and murder,
